The Sweet Canvas: Good Vibes Cookie Decorating Workshop
Five cookies. Four decorating techniques. One sweet canvas to make your own.
Join Camille Thompson of Sweet Blooms by Camille for a fun, beginner-friendly evening of cookie decorating at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum.
Working with five cookies inspired by the “Good Vibes” theme, Camille will guide you step by step through lettering, watercolor painting, outlining and piping techniques to create your own set of edible works of art.
Never decorated cookies before? Perfect. This workshop is designed for beginners, and everything you need to decorate your cookies will be provided.
Come with friends, make it a date night or come on your own for a creative evening at the museum. At the end of class, you’ll take home your decorated cookies along with the supplies provided in your individual decorating kit, so you can keep practicing what you learned.

Includes five cookies, hands-on instruction, decorating supplies and your take-home kit.

What’s Included
Each participant will receive five cookies and an individual decorating kit with supplies to use during the workshop and take home afterward.
Some shared materials provided at the tables, including paint palettes, gel colors and other classroom supplies, are for use during the workshop only and will remain with the instructor for future classes.
Experience level: Beginner — no previous decorating experience required.

This cookie decorating workshop is the first installment of The Sweet Canvas, a dessert decorating series with Sweet Blooms by Camille. Future workshops will explore other sweet creations, including Camille’s specialty cupcakes, so each Sweet Canvas can offer something new to learn — and eat.
The Sweet Canvas is part of Creative Thursdays at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum, a series of hands-on experiences designed to give you something new to make, taste, learn or try after hours at the museum.
Bringing a Child?
Children may accompany a ticketed adult for $10. Child admission does not include a separate decorating kit.

ADVANCE PURCHASE REQUIRED — NO WALK-INS
Tickets must be purchased by Sunday, October 25 so your dessert decorating supplies can be prepared in advance. Tickets will not be available at the door.
The workshop begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. Please arrive at 6 p.m. for check-in and time to get settled.
Because ingredients are selected and prepared specifically for this experience, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies.

- Park in the lot near the northeast entrance.
- Walk north (toward Broward Blvd / the unfinished building) along the outside of the building.
- Turn into the double doors immediately before the construction.
- Walk into the mall for about a minute. We'll be the first storefront on the left.
