Welcome to The Swaptacular, Stamford's premier barter event! Whether you have gorgeous fashion pieces sitting tucked away in your closet or a skill you’d love to trade for something special, this is your chance to swap, share, and celebrate sustainable living.
What You Can Swap
Bring items you would be proud to gift a friend, or offer services that others will love:
- Gift-Quality Goods: Funktacular or high-end clothing, jewelry, stylish shoes, handbags, and chic accessories.
- Services & Skills: Offer a session of graphic design, photography, language practice, personal styling, fitness coaching, gluten-free cooking, home organizing, or whatever your unique talent is!
How It Works
- Trade Free: Bring your gift-quality items or service offers and trade directly with fellow attendees.
- Pay-for-Take Option: Found something you love but didn't bring items to swap? No problem! Those who wish to purchase items without trading are welcome to negotiate/pay.
- Quality First: To keep the event rewarding for everyone, all physical items should be clean, undamaged, and in excellent condition.

To help everyone match up before and during the event, we are compiling an advance Exchange List.
Before arriving, please list:
- What you are bringing to trade (e.g. handmade jewelry, sewing skills, portrait photography sessions)
- What you are hoping to find (e.g., winter boots, ethnic jewelry, guitar lessons)
