Dearest Gentle Girl Scouts,It is with the greatest delight that I welcome you to the Stuffie Society Tea!
The Society is already buzzing with anticipation. We are positively delighted that you and your most treasured stuffed companion have chosen to join us for an afternoon of tea, treats, merriment, and the finest sort of society—stuffed society, naturally.
Should you wish to make a grand entrance worthy of the Regency season, Regency attire is most enthusiastically encouraged, though by no means required. A lovely dress, waistcoat, bonnet, bow tie, or simply your finest tea-going ensemble will do splendidly. Your stuffie, of course, is expected to dress according to their own impeccable standards.
There is, however, one small request from the Society: each guest is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped stuffed animal to donate to a child in need. After all, what could be more delightful than an afternoon spent with our beloved stuffies while helping another child find a new friend of their very own? Such generosity is sure to earn you the highest marks in society.
We thank you most sincerely for registering and for supporting our cause. Your presence—and your generosity—will help make this special event possible, and we cannot wait to welcome you both into our Society.
Until then, polish your manners, prepare your best tea-time conversation, and be certain your stuffie is ready for an afternoon they shall surely be speaking of for seasons to come.
