The Stories We Tell: Indigenous History, Theatre & Silver SpringsWith The Thanksgiving Play director Vickie Ramirez and Scott Mitchell, director of the Silver River Museum
Saturday, October 10 from 1-3 p.m. At the Silver River Museum
What happens when we tell stories about a place without knowing the stories that are already there? Drawing on her experience as an Indigenous playwright and director, Vickie Ramirez explores Indigenous history, storytelling, and representation and considers what theatre can teach us about the stories we inherit and the stories we choose to tell.
Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to all. Space is limited. RSVP by Friday, October 9.
