The Circle of Her Collective began with a simple realization: something shifts when we become more intentional about how we want to live.For me, that shift became clearer after 50.
I found myself wanting something softer. Quieter. Less about hustle and performance, and more about being present. I wanted spaces where I didn't have to show up as what I do, but simply as who I am.
And I began to wonder how many other Black women were looking for that too.
That is the heart behind The Still Becoming Brunch.
On October 10, we're gathering at Hearsay in Arlington for an intimate brunch experience created for Black women 50 and over.
No packed agenda.
No expectation to perform.
No need to arrive with anything figured out.
Just good food, beautiful surroundings, meaningful connection, laughter, and room to simply be.
Because there is something about this season that brings a different kind of clarity. We get to decide what we carry forward, what we release, how quickly or slowly we move, and what we want this next chapter to feel like.
We are not finished.
We are Still Becoming.
And perhaps one of the most beautiful things about this season is realizing that we get to Author What's Next.
