Get ready for an afternoon of Halloween fun at The St. James Trick or Treat Celebration!
Bring the whole family for trick-or-treating, pumpkins, live entertainment, food and drinks, and Halloween-themed activities throughout The St. James — including our Pumpkin Plunge in the Pool.

General Admission: $15 per guest
Family 4 Pack: $50
STJ Members: FREE
General admission includes:
- Access to Trunk or Treat
- One personal pumpkin per guest
- Access to Pumpkin Plunge activities
- Additional Halloween activations and entertainment
Please note: Guest passes will not be accepted for this event. All non-members must purchase general admission.

Arrival & Check-In
All guests must enter through The St. James Main Entrance and check in at the Pool House desk before participating in event activities.
Trunk or Treat 🎃🍬
Our Trunk or Treat celebration will take place in Parking Lot 4 (Pool Lot).
Make your way through decorated trunks to collect Halloween treats and enjoy an afternoon featuring:
- Live music
- Halloween activities and activations
- Food and beverages available for purchase
- Family-friendly fun throughout the afternoon
Costumes are encouraged!

Pumpkin Plunge 💦🎃
Take the Halloween fun into the water with a lineup of special activities inside The St. James Pool.
Pumpkin Rescue
Put your water-safety skills to the test!
Reach, throw, and swim your way through a series of rescue challenges as you work to safely recover your pumpkin.
Cardboard Pirate Ship Regatta 🏴☠️
Regatta begins at 2:30 PM.
Build your ship, gather your crew, and prepare to set sail!
Design and decorate your own cardboard pirate vessel at home, then bring it to Pumpkin Plunge to put its seaworthiness to the test.
Crews can compete in two challenges:
Time Trial — Race the Clock
Complete one lap of the course as quickly as possible. The three fastest successful voyages will earn prizes.
Survival Challenge — Last Ship Floating Speed isn't everything! Keep sailing for as many complete laps as your cardboard ship can survive. The vessel completing the greatest number of laps before sinking, capsizing, or abandoning ship will take the survival title.
Regatta Prizes
Winning crews will receive day passes to The St. James Pool & Water Park.
Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event and must be present to claim their prize.
Ship Requirements & Safety
Ships must be constructed primarily from corrugated cardboard and tape and must be propelled by human power.
Pirate creativity and decoration are highly encouraged!
All vessels will undergo a pre-launch seaworthiness inspection, and all sailors must wear an approved life jacket while competing.

Floating Obstacle Course
Climb, crawl, balance, and splash your way across our Floating Obstacle Course for a fast-paced aquatic challenge.
Life jackets will be provided and must be worn by all participants.
