MAR’YA is a Ukrainian singer-songwriter creating bold, cinematic pop for women who refuse to choose between softness and power.
Blending emotionally charged songwriting with modern pop, dark glamour and a touch of rock edge, MAR’YA turns the contradictions of being a woman into music: desire and independence, vulnerability and ambition, romance and self-destruction.
Her songs live somewhere between a confession and a rebellion — intimate enough to feel like a secret, powerful enough to feel like an anthem.
Born in Kyiv and now based in London, MAR’YA brings together Eastern European emotional intensity with the freedom and eclecticism of the city around her. As a songwriter, performer and creative director, she approaches her music as a complete visual world, where every song has a character, a mood and a story.
