About this Event
The prestigious Mriya Gallery, located at 101 Reade Street in Tribeca, New York, will present “The Space Between Us,” the second art exhibition in an ongoing series. Opening November 5, the four-day presentation brings together the work of 15 visionary New York-based artists, many of whom are members of the renowned Art Students League of New York and Pleiades Gallery in Chelsea.
“The Space Between Us” explores the dynamic space that exists between an artist, a work of art, and the viewer. Bringing together 15 distinct artistic voices, the exhibition invites audiences to pause, look closely, and consider the personal interpretations and connections that emerge in the space between the work and the individual experiencing it.
Adding to the experience, all participating artists will be present throughout the exhibition, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to meet the artists, learn more about their practices, and engage directly with the creative voices behind the work.
Art collectors, enthusiasts, and members of the public are invited to experience this special group exhibition at Mriya Art Gallery during its four-day presentation. “The Space Between Us” opens to the public on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with an opening cocktail reception from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The exhibition will remain on view through Sunday, November 8, 2026, with gallery hours from 12:00 to 7:00 PM daily.
The exhibition is curated by Mitchell Rodbell, John Kneapler, and Suyapa Quinn, following the successful exhibition of the same name at One Art Space in Tribeca in January 2026. Featured artists are Joan Binstock, Ron Chereskin, Marietta Gavaris, Monali Ghosh, Alison Jones, Daniel Kalin, John Kneapler, Dyann Klein, Yoomee Ko, Suyapa Quinn, Mitchell Rodbell, Jules Schaffer, Catherine Sweeney, Susana Tavel, and Joyce Weidenaar.
