This authentic roots and blues show is cooking again at Fairport BSide on Thursday, November 5th!On tap is the "Slde of Hand" band & this month's special guest, Fred Vine!
Fred is well known in these parts as an accomplished blues musician who also writes many clever songs. For instance Fred's song about the "Who's who of the Blues" lamenting his name (Fred) in comparison to blues icons like Lightnin' Hopkins, or Blind Lemon, and Mississippi John, etc. (Personally the name "Gordon" is even more of a boring blues handle than Fred. But hey, ya ride the horse you got)
And Fred's guitar playing skills fantastic too!
This is a three part show, often with surprise guests.
And it always ends with a blowout jam session!
Come on out for this 6-9pm show at the BSide!
