What is the event about?
Europe is navigating an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape. It is marked by rising competition, economic uncertainty, and growing demands for strategic resilience. In this context, completing and strengthening the European Single Market has become more important than ever.
Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister of Italy and author of the report “Much more than a market” on the future of the Single Market in 2024, will hold this year’s ARENA Lecture.
He will outline his recommendations and reflect on how they have been followed up by the EU, the implications and the aftermath of the report. What progress has been made, and what remains to be done to build a more integrated, competitive, and resilient European market?
