The World Adaptive Boxing Council (WABC), run by Adaptive Sports Innovations (ASI),
is the newly established National Governing Body (NGB) for adaptive boxing.
We have written to secure sponsors for our historic, first-ever adaptive boxing league showcase on Saturday, 5 December 2026.
Our organization is leading the global development of this sport by establishing the first true league structures for adaptive athletes Internationally building numbers, taken seriously.
This landmark event will feature competitors from across the UK and international
delegations from other countries who are flying in to witness the future of adaptive boxing and prepare.
As the WABC president Jody Bennett of this new movement,
Our absolute priority is safety.
We have established rigorous safety protocols and technical league structures to ensure that
every adaptive boxer can compete in a highly secure, fair, and regulated environment.
By leading by example, we are creating a blueprint to eventually promote adaptive boxing into
the Paralympic Games.
Hosting this showcase at the Alan Higgs Centre will place your business at the very heart of
inclusive sports history. We have required a suitable sports hall space to set up the adapted ring and
accommodate spectators for this high-profile event.
