As the family settles in, they become increasingly disturbed by its dark history. While Jack gradually descends into madness under the hotel's sinister influence, Danny uses his psychic ability, known as 'the Shining,' to sense the evil forces at work and seek help from the outside world. Stanley Kubrick’s THE SHINING is a masterclass in psychological tension and haunting imagery that has created a lasting impact on the horror genre and popular culture.
