The Shattered Sword Book Blurb:
SURVIVAL CAME AT A PRICE. IS LOVE ENOUGH TO PAY IT?
Last year, Connor and Amy saved the universe—but their happily ever after isn’t so happy.
Racked with guilt for what he did while possessed by the Sword spirit, Connor struggles to heal from the deep scars it left behind. Nightmares haunt him, and it doesn’t help that Amy’s brother can’t look him in the eye anymore. Arty’s wheelchair and dead expression remind him daily of what the Sword did to him. Of what Connor did to him.
Amy also relives the horrors almost every night. Her grief and anger amplify when she gets a rejection letter from Clearwater, the school she’s spent years longing to attend. Her grades and portfolio suffered with all her training and her dreams of the future become another victim of the Sword and Shield’s final battle.
Their world gets turned upside down all over again when Darkness sends a new spirit to finish what the Sword started. Connor and Amy have no choice but to fight against it. If they don’t, it will do everything in its power to achieve Darkness’s eternal goal—destroy all life. No matter how broken and battered their spirits have become, they must stand together, or it could cost them everything.
The Shattered Sword concludes Connor and Amy’s story and is a spice-free young adult supernatural romance that explores the themes of grief, healing, and never giving up on love.
