Join Ashton Hiking Club for a women-only adventure through the spectacular Stiperstones in the Shropshire Hills.
Follow a rugged ridge scattered with extraordinary quartzite rock formations, discover the legendary Devil’s Chair, and take in sweeping views across open moorland and the surrounding countryside.
Expect rocky paths beneath your boots, fresh November air and time to pause, enjoy the scenery and connect with fellow walkers. If you love exploring somewhere different, this is a walk to look forward to.

The estimated walking time is 3–4 hours, with additional time allowed for lunch, photographs and rest stops. The finish time may vary with conditions and the group’s pace.

Registration opens at 9:45 AM. Parking is free, with voluntary donations accepted through RingGo. There are no toilets at the car park, so please arrange a toilet stop before arriving.
🥾 COME PREPARED
Bring sturdy waterproof hiking boots with good grip, warm layers, a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, packed lunch, snacks and water. Please also carry any personal Medic*tion, a charged phone and a head torch.

This is a winter-season hike on exposed, uneven terrain. The route may be amended or the walk cancelled if conditions are unsafe.
