This Sunday we'll engage with The Shambhala Prophecy that eco-philosopher Joanna Macy learned from a Tibetan Buddhist teacher in 1980. The Prophecy describes Shambhala warriors whose weapons are compassion and the wisdom of interconnection. Please join us as we open our minds and imagine our lives within a greater horizon of meaning.The Open Circle is a weekly gathering at Common Street Spiritual Center where we build community, reflect on the meaning of life, sing, meditate, pray, connect with the divine, cultivate compassion, remember our higher purpose, and recommit to our paths. It is an inclusive spiritual setting that celebrates different belief systems and ways of life. All are welcome.
The Open Circle is free and open to the public, though we do welcome donations to our "Common Purse" fund that is reserved for members and friends of the community in times of hardship.
