We are excited to bring you a screening of The Serpent's Skin (2025), Directed by Alice Maio Mackay (T Blockers, Carnage for Christmas, Our Effed Up World).
Twentysomething Anna (Alexandra McVicker, October Crow) finally leaves her small, transmisogynistic hometown for good and quickly begins dating goth tattoo artist Gen (Avalon Fast, Castration Movie) after the two discover they share supernatural powers.
But before Anna can call up the U-Haul, Gen inadvertently summons a demon through the sick neck tattoo she gives sensitive guitarist Danny (Jordan Dulieu). As Danny — or whatever’s inside of him — begins feeding off their friends, it’s up to Anna and Gen to figure out how to use their powers to save everyone before it’s too late.
Running at 83 minutes, the movie channels the visual language of 90s teenage horror like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed while inserting the disillusionment and hallucinogenic surrealism of Gregg Araki's Teen Apocalypse Trilogy - making for a refreshing, titillating trans lesbian story.

Doors open at 7 :30 PM with the screening to start at 8 PM. Snacks and drinks provided. Please mask when not eating or drinking, and stay home if you're sick. Limited pay-what-you-can tickets at the door.
Accessibility
- While the venue's entrance is not wheelchair accessible, a moveable ramp is available upon request.
- Street parking available along Penn Ave. as well as neighboring residential streets. Parking on Penn Ave is free after 6pm Mon-Sat.
- Closest bus routes to the venue are the 88 and 64. The 88 stops along Penn Ave and the 64 stops at Friendship Park.
- HEPA filters will be running in the venue during the screening.
