Experience the poetry and power of Leonard Cohen’s music brought to life by The Secret Chord, the nation’s sole fully devoted Cohen tribute band, for a special memorial tribute on the 10th anniversary of Cohen's death, November 7, 2016.
With rich harmonies, soulful vocals, and a dynamic blend of folk, rock, and jazz, the Secret Chord captures the heart of Cohen’s legendary songs: from hard-rocking social commentary to tender love ballads to soaring anthems – woven throughout with Cohen’s deep spiritual devotion.
The Secret Chord is fronted by singer/guitarist Gordon Kramer, supported by “angel choir” Ruth Critcher and Jody Spitz, classically-trained pianist Jesse Sprole, drummer Dan Styklunas, and bassist Jeff Jacobson, who has played with Chuck Berry, Percy Sledge, Martha Reeves and Leslie Gore – to name a few – and with R&B greats like The Platters and The Drifters.
