The Second Voice Change: The Aging VoiceLecture, Discussion & Book Signing with Donald Milton III
What happens to our voices as we age?
For many singers, notes become harder to reach, vocal stamina changes, and the voice simply doesn't feel the way it once did. These changes can be frustrating—but they are also a normal part of the lifelong journey of singing.
Join conductor, educator, and author Donald Milton III for an engaging and encouraging presentation exploring the aging voice. Drawing from years of research and experience working with singers of all ages, Donald will discuss why our voices change, what we can do to keep them healthy, and how we can continue singing with confidence for years to come.
Whether you're a choir member, solo singer, voice teacher, choral director, or simply curious about how the voice evolves over time, this event is designed to inform, inspire, and encourage.
Following the presentation, Donald will answer questions and sign copies of his new book, The Second Voice Change.
You'll learn:
🎵 Why voices change as we age
🎵 Practical strategies for maintaining a healthy singing voice
🎵 Ways to preserve vocal stamina, range, and confidence
