The Seasons in Bloom is a floral arrangement workshop series that celebrates the beauty of each season through locally grown flowers and hands-on floral design. Throughout the year, participants will create unique arrangements inspired by what's naturally blooming, exploring the colors, textures, and character that make each season special. Whether you're new to floral design or an experienced flower enthusiast, you'll leave each workshop with a beautiful arrangement and a deeper appreciation for seasonal blooms.
The series is led by Curious Flowers, a flower grower and florist based in Centerport, NY, specializing in distinctive floral arrangements created with locally grown, seasonal flowers. For our Fall Arrangements workshop, we'll celebrate the new season with an arrangement featuring some of the season's most beloved blooms. Participants will create a floral arrangement in a quart-sized (32 oz) mason jar while learning foundational floral design techniques.
Featured flowers may include heirloom chrysanthemum, dahlias, amaranth, ornamental grass, and other seasonal flowers (subject to seasonal availability and weather conditions).
