The Sapphic Social Club is a Denver-based event company led by two queer organizers, Alayna Shaw (she/they) and Erica Wilder (she/her). They met in 2021 and bonded over their shared love of activism and community building. Since the spring of 2022, they have hosted many sold-out events for the Denver sapphic // queer community and have donated over $12,000 to various values-aligned, grassroots LGBTQIA+ serving organizations with the proceeds from their events. Their events are typically themed dance parties featuring local DJs, drag/burlesque performers, and also typically have activations such as crafting (for the introverts ;)), a photo booth, etc.
Tiana Major9 is an East London–born, British Caribbean R&B singer-songwriter now based in Brooklyn, NY, blending future-facing R&B, timeless soul, and jazz-rooted musicianship with unmistakable Caribbean influence. Raised in Newham and shaped by gospel, jazz, and the sounds of D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse, they have amassed over 200 million global streams with a sound that feels both classic and deeply contemporary.
