Five exceptional musicians from Ottawa’s jazz scene come together for an evening of sophisticated, energetic and deeply swinging live jazz.
Featuring Samuel Cousineau on saxophone, Ed Lister on trumpet, James Greer on piano, Chris Pond on bass, and Mike Essoudry on drums, this all-star quintet brings together some of the city's most accomplished players for a night built around improvisation, interplay and great tunes.
Expect hard swing, beautiful melodies, adventurous improvisation and the kind of spontaneous musical chemistry that can only happen when great musicians share a stage.
