We're hitting Blue Springs for the Candy Cane Course, and I'm already running behind. Not on pace, just... on everything else. The tree hasn't been found, the lights have gained sentience, and page two of my list includes a promise to bring muffins. Muffin to worry about, I keep telling myself. It's a milestone, so naturally I'm arriving at the last possible moment, feelings loud and in a minor key. Consider it a holly jolly meltdown. I'm evergreen: always in season, never quite ready. Wreath havoc is on the schedule, hard candy is on the menu, and there's a rush on, so get behind me, Santa.
Come run it with us. Shop around if you must, but this is the one thing on my list that's actually scheduled.
(Note: This event is not the race link. Put off everything else on your list, but not this: see the ticket URL to sign up for the race itself.)
