🍂 Welcome to The Rowan Club 🍂Looking for a warm, welcoming place to spend your Fridays? The Rowan Club, run by Carers in Bedfordshire, is a social day club for older people, with time, support and inspiration for the carers who look after them.
Every Friday follows a gentle rhythm: coffee and a friendly welcome, meaningful seasonal activities, gentle exercise, a relaxed lunch together, and an afternoon of creativity and conversation. Members go home feeling connected and valued, and carers get some well-earned time for themselves, with real peace of mind.

💚 The Thrive Series – for carers (If you wish to stay - you don't have to!)
While members enjoy their day, carers are invited to our weekly Thrive sessions: expert speakers, practical ideas and the chance to connect with others who understand. This month:
6 Nov – The Natural Prescription: a gentle guided wellbeing walk at Priory Country Park with Beds RCC
13 Nov – Phone Photography: simple tips to see your world differently
20 Nov – Tibbs Dementia Connections with Martin McGlynn, followed by an informal Q&A
27 Nov – Amazing Bedfordians with local historian Paul Nicholson (We are currently looking for an alternative venue for this date)
You can book a Thrive session on its own, without attending the full day. A suggested donation of £5 is welcomed.
