Last year was so much fun that we’re doing it again—and with year two, we’re officially calling it a tradition. Rocky Horror is now an annual event at the Dothan Opera House!
This isn’t your normal night at the movies.

🎶 Sing along.
📣 Shout the callbacks.
🕺 Do the Time Warp.
🎉 And YES—bring your props!
Audience participation is a huge part of Rocky Horror, but we also have to protect our historic Opera House. Venue-safe props are encouraged!
✅ BRING IT:
Newspapers • Rubber gloves • Party hats • Noisemakers • Bells • Playing cards • Glow sticks • Cell phone lights
🚫 LEAVE THESE AT HOME:
🍚 Rice — bring playing cards instead
💦 Water guns — newspaper over your head works perfectly
🔥 Candles & lighters — use your phone flashlight or glow stick
🍞 Real toast — make a cardboard “toast” prop
🌭 Food of any kind — paper or cardboard versions work
✨ Glitter & loose confetti — playing cards give you the effect without the mess
🧻 Toilet paper rolls — Great Scott will understand
The easy rule: Nothing wet, sticky, staining, burning, messy or damaging—and please don't throw anything at the screen.
Whether you’ve seen Rocky Horror 100 times or have never experienced it before, come ready for a strange journey.
