Pay tribute to the late Tim Curry by taking part in this fully immersive showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show movie for Halloween. Our founder Jenny Hurkett said: “Like many others, we were devasted to hear of the death of Tim. So, we have switched our schedules to include this tribute to the person who created the legendary Frank-N-Furter more than 50 years ago.
“Like the live show, the experience will be fully immersive with fans being issued with their own special horror packs on arrival. Each bag will contain all you need to celebrate Tim in true Rocky Horror style.”
For years, Rocky Horror fans have turned a simple trip to the theatre into a night no one could forget. There are unscripted audience heckles throughout the show.
Physical flourishes include throwing rice during a wedding; firing water pistols when it rains (now banned for live performances because of the danger of electrocution); newspapers to shelter from the rain and pocket torches (now mobile phones) lit during the song I See A Light.
Then there is the musical’s most famous track Time Warp, where the whole audience is encouraged to join the cast in the classic dance with a jump to the left and a step to the right…
Jenny said: “We will be leading the audience, so even if this is your first experience of the Rocky Horror phenomenon, you won’t feel left out.”
The audience, of course, will be encouraged to dress for the evening in suitably outrageous Rocky Horror garb.
