About this Event
The Robert Burns Scottish Club of Erie Burns Supper
Join us for a spirited evening of good food, fine whisky, with song and celebration in honour of Rabbie Burns, Scotland’s National Bard.
The evening will feature all the great traditions of a Burns Supper, including the ceremonial piping in of the haggis, Burns’ famous Address to a Haggis, hearty Scottish fare and a dram or two along the way. Highland dress is warmly encouraged, whether that means full kilt and jacket or simply a touch of tartan.
We’ll raise a glass to Burns through the traditional addresses, including the Immortal Memory, celebrating his life, poetry, humour and enduring influence, along with the much-loved Toast to the Lassies and Reply from the Lassies, where wit and good-natured mischief are very much part of the occasion.
With music, laughter, plenty of Scottish spirit and, of course, a proper ceilidh to round off the night, it promises to be a memorable celebration of Burns, Scotland and good company.
