In The Mood Jazz Club

🎸 Raw vocals, expressive guitar and a powerful groove - these are the hallmarks of The River of Blues, who return to the stage of In The Mood Jazz Club with music that brings together the spirit of American blues and a distinctive voice of their own - for an evening of character, emotion and a vibrant connection between the stage and the audience.
Founded in Plovdiv by charismatic vocalist Andy Raychev, also known as The Preacher Man, the band is gaining increasing international recognition for its authentic, electrifying performances.
For over a decade, The River of Blues have been carving out their place on the regional blues scene, channelling the traditions of Chicago, Mississippi and New Orleans through their own sensibility and onstage energy.
Their sound combines raw, soulful vocals rooted in Delta and Chicago blues, expressive guitar inspired by B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Muddy Waters, and a rhythm section that weaves together swing, groove and contemporary energy. Their music brings to life stories of love, friendship, betrayal, brotherhood and freedom - themes that have always been at the heart of the blues. ⚡️
Their international concert history includes an appearance at Brezoi Open Air Blues Festival in Romania in July 2022, followed by a mini-tour in early 2023 with concerts in Bucharest, Craiova and Sibiu. In October of the same year, the band headlined the opening night of Urban Blues Fest 4 in Bucharest.
