Join us at Widowmaker Brewery in Braintree, MA for a night inside the world of The Right Kind of Woman, an original psychological thriller series preparing to film its pilot right here in Massachusetts this fall and winter.
Inspired by the creator’s family’s journey through infertility and IVF, the series grew from a desire to honor that experience, and the many people who quietly carry the grief, uncertainty, hope, and isolation of infertility. Through the heightened world of a psychological thriller, The Right Kind of Woman explores motherhood, loss, identity, love, and the lengths we’ll go to for the people we love.
Before the cameras roll, we’re bringing together the cast, creative team, friends, supporters, and local community for a first look at the series and a chance to help bring the pilot from script to screen.
Throughout the night, you’ll hear portions of the pilot performed live by members of the cast, meet the team behind the production, and learn more about the story and what we hope to create. There will also be food, a cash bar, raffles, games, prizes, and a few surprises along the way.
The event is free to attend, with a suggested donation to support the production of the pilot. All contributions will go through our Seed&Spark crowdfunding campaign, and a portion of proceeds raised through the event will be donated to the ASRM Research Institute, supporting research and advancement in reproductive medicine.
