Finding a therapist or wellness practitioner shouldn’t feel like blindly choosing a name from a directory.
The Right Fit, presented by Street Chronicles, is a curated mental health and wellness connection experience created for Black women who want to explore therapy, holistic wellness and new ways of caring for themselves—but want the opportunity to experience the person behind the practice first.
On Saturday, November 7, we’re bringing together:
25 Black women.25 therapists + holistic wellness practitioners.
One room full of possibilities.
Think speed dating—but for your wellness.
Throughout the evening, you’ll move through a series of brief, intentional conversations with therapists and wellness practitioners representing different personalities, specialties, perspectives and approaches to care.
No pressure to choose someone on the spot.
No expectation that you already know what kind of support you need.
Just an opportunity to ask questions, experience different approaches and pay attention to what feels right for you.
Because the right fit matters.
Maybe you’ve thought about therapy but don’t know where to begin.
Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and didn’t connect with the therapist.
Maybe you’re looking for a Black therapist in Dallas/DFW or culturally affirming mental health support.
Maybe traditional therapy isn’t the only kind of wellness you’re curious about.
Or maybe you’re doing well—and you’re simply ready to build a stronger support system before life requires one.
You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support.
The Right Fit creates space to explore.

Who This Is For
The Right Fit was intentionally created for Black women interested in mental health, emotional wellness, self-care, holistic wellness and building a trusted support system.
You may especially enjoy this experience if you’re a woman balancing leadership, entrepreneurship, career, family, relationships, community responsibilities—or simply the weight of being the person everyone else depends on.
This isn’t a traditional networking event.
It isn’t group therapy.
And it isn’t a clinical mental-health fair.
It’s an opportunity to meet the people behind the practice and discover what support can look and feel like for you.
