By Lauren Gunderson
A Staged Reading
Directed by Ashley Butler
In the fevered chaos of the French Revolution, four extraordinary women—a playwright, an assassin, a queen, and a rebel—dare to imagine a different future, bound together by audacity, sisterhood, and unstoppable zeal. As they navigate a world of violence, upheaval, and impossible choices, their voices rise in defiance, fueled by a fierce belief in the power of art, activism, and one another. With biting humor and electrifying modern energy, The Revolutionists blurs the lines between history and imagination to examine who gets to shape the narrative of change.
The Revolutionists is presented by arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service Collection. (www.dramatists.com)
