The Reset is for leaders who are capable, accomplished, and tired of operating at full capacity like it is a personality trait. It isn’t one. Stop treating it like one.
Most leadership development still looks absurdly predictable: a random airport hotel, Ballroom B, aggressively patterned carpet, fluorescent lighting, air-conditioning set to meat locker, burnt coffee in a silver urn, a breakfast pastry nobody wanted, and eight hours of being told to “think differently” while sitting at a round table with a name tent and a branded pen that falls apart before lunch.
Then come the slides.
Then the breakout groups.
Then someone asks what “leadership means to you.”
Then you role play.
Then you go back to your room, open your laptop, answer 47 emails, and somehow this was supposed to transform how you lead?
No. Clearly, No.
SAIL Leadership Intensives, and specifically our Voyage in early December, "The Reset", is executive leadership development rebuilt around the reality that environment matters. Distance matters. Your nervous system matters. And adults do better work when they are treated like adults. Wild, I know.
Over four nights aboard Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady, you step away from the meetings, notifications, requests, decisions, and constant low-grade urgency long enough to hear yourself think again.
No cold ballroom.
No beige buffet line.
No stale granola bar pretending to be hospitality.
No eight-hour PowerPoint marathon.
No leadership theater.
Instead: ocean views, excellent food, actual rest, space to think, executive coaching (before, during and after), guided reflection, assessment, intentional conversation, movement, time alone, and the kind of perspective you simply do not get while staring at the same office walls.
The SAIL framework focuses on Self-Care, Accountability, Influence, and Learning. Our next level program, SAILING, adds Introspection, Negotiation and Growth to the mix.
Roundtrip from Miami with time in Key West and at The Beach Club at Bimini, "The Reset" is designed to help you reconnect with the person underneath the role, examine how you are actually leading, and return with more clarity, energy, and intention than you arrived with.
You do not need another productivity hack.
You do not need another acronym for goal setting.
You do not need a keynote telling you to “lean into discomfort” while you are literally uncomfortable on this Chivarti chair.
You need four days where nobody needs anything from you long enough to figure out what you need next. I'm a Mom of 5, I should know.
Your experience includes executive coaching with Tara Furiani, leadership expert, author, and host of Not the HR Lady, plus access to the full SAIL Leadership Intensive Program and private coaching with your navigator app before, during, and after the voyage.
Self-paced, but guided. Structured, but not overly scheduled.
Serious leadership development.
Just without the flourescent lights and catering buffet.
