About this Event
Life gets busy very quickly.
We can spend so much time getting on with things, thinking about what needs doing next and responding to everyone else that we don’t always stop long enough to ask ourselves:
How am I actually doing?
What’s taking up most of my headspace at the moment?
What do I want less of?
And what would I genuinely like more of?
The Reset is a two-hour small-group experience combining guided journalling and reflection with relaxed group coaching conversation.
There isn’t a right thing you need to arrive wanting to work on.
You might have something specific on your mind.
You might know you’re ready for something to change but not know what that is yet.
You might have been feeling a bit stuck or going round in circles with something.
Or you might simply fancy a morning that gives you the chance to stop, think and check back in with yourself.
All of those are welcome.
What happens during the morning?
We’ll start gently, get settled and take a little time to arrive rather than rushing straight into anything.
I’ll then guide you through a series of journalling prompts and reflections around where you are at the moment, what’s been taking up your energy and what you may want more of moving forward.
There’ll also be space for small-group coaching conversation around whatever begins to come up.
That might mean exploring a thought a little further, looking at something from a different perspective, asking a question you hadn’t considered before or simply hearing yourself say something out loud that has been sitting in your head for a while.
It won’t be two hours of sitting silently writing, and it won’t be two hours of being put on the spot and expected to share either.
It’s a mixture of reflection, conversation, coaching and space to think.
Do I have to share with the group?
No.
You’re welcome to join in with the conversation as much or as little as feels comfortable.
You will never be made to answer a question or share something personal with the room.
Sometimes you may want to talk. Sometimes what you write is just for you.
Both are completely fine.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely.
In fact, these kinds of experiences are designed to be somewhere you can comfortably come on your own.
The group is intentionally kept small — just 8 women — so it can feel relaxed and personal rather than like walking into a big room full of strangers.
Do I need experience of journalling or coaching?
Not at all.
You don’t need to be someone who journals every day, know anything about coaching or arrive with beautifully organised thoughts.
I’ll guide the morning and give you everything you need to take part.
There are no right answers and there’s nothing you need to prepare beforehand.
What should I bring?
Mostly, just yourself.
I’ll have journals and pens available, so you don’t need to bring anything unless you have a favourite notebook you’d rather use.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
Tea and coffee will be available too, so you can settle in, get comfortable and make the morning feel like a proper couple of hours out of the everyday.
Where is it?
Bury Business Centre, Bury
There is free parking available at the venue.
The session starts at 10am and finishes at 12pm. You’re welcome to arrive around 10 minutes beforehand so you can get settled without rushing.
Who is The Reset for?
The Reset is for women aged 18+.
You don’t need to be at breaking point.
You don’t need a huge problem that needs solving.
And you definitely don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about before you arrive.
Sometimes giving yourself the space to slow things down is how you begin to notice what actually needs your attention.
You may leave with an answer.
You may leave with a different question.
You may simply leave feeling like you’ve finally had a couple of hours to hear yourself properly.
And any of those can be useful.
If that sounds like something you could do with at the moment, I’d love to welcome you to The Reset. 🫶🏻
8 places only.
