🎃👻 SOMETHING WICKEDLY GOOD THIS WAY COMES...And no, it’s not a ghost.
It’s a FREE ADOPTION DAY.
We’re putting the boo in boop, the spooky in snoopy, and the treat in adopt-a-pet for our FINAL FEE-WAIVED EVENT OF THE ASPCA RESCUE EFFECT SERIES!
Rochester Animal Services is teaming up with the ASPCA for the Rescue Effect — a nationwide campaign helping more shelter animals find loving homes.
And for this final event, all available animals are eligible for fee-waived adoptions, including animals in the shelter and animals currently in foster care.
So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to add a four-legged member to your household...
👻 THIS IS YOUR SIGN.
Looking for a loyal sidekick? We have dogs.
Need someone to supervise your spooky movie marathon? We have cats.
Want a creature who will stare at you from across the room until you give them a snack? We have...well, plenty of those.
And somewhere among all those wagging tails, purrs, wiggles and questionable Halloween costumes could be your next best friend.
🧡 FOSTER PETS
The fee waiver will be honored for applications submitted before the clock strikes midnight at CityofRochester.gov/PetAdoption, regardless of the date scheduled for the meet-and-greet.
So if your favorite foster pet has been living rent-free in your heart, this might be the time to make it official.
🦇 IN-SHELTER PETS
Fee-waived adoptions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All members of the household — including resident dogs — must be present for in-shelter meet-and-greets to help ensure the best possible match.
This is our last fee-waived event of the ASPCA Rescue Effect series, so don’t let this one disappear into the night.
Because the only thing scarier than Halloween...
is realizing you could have met your new best friend and didn't. 👀
Come meet the animals waiting for their forever homes and see who casts a spell on you.
🎃 No tricks. No treats required. Just a little love.
