The Release
A Breathwork Experience for Letting Go of What You’ve Been Carrying
Wednesday, October 28, 2026 | 6:30–8:00 PM
Tinker House Events
You don’t need to carry everything into your next chapter.
The Release is a guided breathwork experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and create space for whatever you’re ready to let go of.
Stress. Pressure. Resentment. Fear. Grief. Expectations. An old version of yourself.
Sometimes we understand what we need to release mentally, but the body is still holding on.
This experience is an opportunity to move beyond thinking and into feeling.
Through intentional movement, guided breathwork, music, stillness, and reflection, you’ll be led through a journey of:
Feel. Release. Receive.
You do not need any previous breathwork or meditation experience. Just come willing to be present and curious about what your body may be ready to show you.
What to Expect
We’ll begin by slowing down and setting an intention for the evening.
From there, we’ll move through gentle somatic movement before entering a guided dynamic breathwork journey supported by music.
The breathwork will build gradually, creating an opportunity for physical, emotional, and energetic release.
We’ll then transition into stillness and close with guided integration and journaling so you can begin making meaning from whatever came forward.
Every experience is different. There is nothing you need to force, achieve, or perform.
Your only job is to breathe.
This Experience Is For You If...
You’ve been carrying stress or emotional weight that you’re ready to put down.
You feel like you’re entering a new chapter and want to leave something behind.
You’ve been stuck in your head and want to reconnect with your body.
You’re curious about breathwork, nervous system regulation, or deeper self-exploration.
Or you simply want to unplug from everything else and reconnect with yourself.
What to Bring
Bring a yoga mat, water, comfortable clothing, and a journal if you have one.
You may also want to bring a blanket or anything else that helps you feel comfortable while lying down.
Please avoid eating a large meal immediately before the experience.
About the Experience
This is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about creating enough space to hear what is already underneath the noise.
Come as you are.
Bring what you’ve been carrying.
And give yourself permission to leave a little lighter.
Contraindications & Safety
This workshop includes active, deep breathing that may create strong physical and emotional sensations. This style of breathwork may not be appropriate for everyone.
Please do not participate in the active breathwork portion if you are pregnant or have a history of cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, seizure disorders or epilepsy, psychosis, or a recent major injury or surgery.
If you have a significant medical condition, take medications that may affect your cardiovascular or nervous system, or are unsure whether this practice is appropriate for you, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.
Active breathwork can temporarily cause sensations such as dizziness, tingling, muscle tightness, changes in heart rate, or lightheadedness due to changes in breathing and carbon dioxide levels.
You are always encouraged to slow down, return to normal breathing, or stop at any time. A gentler breathing option will be available for anyone who should not participate in the active technique.
