About this Event
The Reindeer and I
A Heartwarming World Premiere Holiday Production at Tree Fort Productions
November 27 – December 13, 2026 | Sarasota, FL
Experience the magic, meaning, and unexpected beauty of the holiday season with The Reindeer and I, a moving new play written by and starring multi-award-winning theatre artist Katherine Michelle Tanner and directed by Blake Walton.
Inspired by Tanner's own life experiences, this deeply personal, autobiographical story follows a woman whose world is turned upside down by a sudden cancer diagnosis. As she navigates love, loss, and the hope of motherhood, she finds herself taking an ordinary seasonal holiday job. What begins as a simple distraction soon becomes an extraordinary journey of self-discovery, unexpected connections, and renewed hope.
Blending heartfelt storytelling with the spirit of the season, The Reindeer and I is more than a holiday play—it's a personal testament to resilience, the power of human connection, and finding light in life's darkest moments. Tanner brings her own story to the stage, reminding us that joy, love, and a little holiday magic can appear when we least expect them.
Join Tree Fort Productions for this unforgettable World Premiere, playing for a limited engagement November 27 through December 13, 2026.
