Dear FB friends,You are cordially invited to "The Redhouse Family Jazz Band" Concert on Oct. 24, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Tohono Chul Park's "Jazz Under the Stars" music series! We would love to have you experience our unique Contemporary Jazz Fusion of Native/Latin/Funk music in Tucson. Larry Redhouse: Composer/keyboards, Mary Redhouse: Bass/vocal/Native American Flute, Lenny Redhouse: Drum set, Tony Redhouse: Latin/World/Native American/Indigenous Percussion/Vocals, and Duane Reilly: Sax/Flute.
We are the "First Family of Native American Jazz" in the country and draw from our rich Native American ancestral roots, but as youngsters growing up in the Monterey Bay Area we were deeply inspired by the music of Tower of Power, Santana, Malo, Coldblood, Funk Inc., Redbone, El Chicano, WAR, Average White Band, James Brown, Aretha, Mongo Santamaria, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Chic Corea, Traffic, Cal Tjader, Sergio Mendez and others.
My dear Lizette Figueroa and I look forward to seeing all our friends and the Tucson community! Please click on: https://tohonochul.org/event/jazz-under-the-stars-2026 for more info. Sincerely, Tony Redhouse (09/23/2026).
