This is the Rogue Fencers Guild's annual fall epee tournament in League City. Fencer registration is at: https://www.askfred.net/tournaments/91bd7738-98c9-4c90-8b62-63bb29a9ce94Spectators admitted free of charge.
"The Red Court" was the title of a short story he wrote, set in a near future in which one can hire a "champion" in lieu of an attorney. Think of a duel to first blood as a legal means of redress. Now you understand the title.
We have access to a small gym with only four strips. It will prove to be a busy day and we ask that all fencers show up one hour before the fencing start time for your event.
We feel obliged to remind fencers that, while the rules state a fencer can request a 3 minute break between bouts, that is only within the same event. If you plan to fence more than one event, try to make sure that they are sufficiently far away in time that you have a rest. Fencing in a different event in the same tournament is not an excuse for not being ready when your name is called in another event. To put it simply, we discourage fencers from competing in events that will be running at the same time.
Please note, due to the small size of the space, there is a limit on how many fencers can compete in each event. This will be first-come, first served. Yes, we have activated a waiting list.

Each Event Fenced: $20.00
Payments and Waivers (must be signed) in the front office. Cash, checks and credit/debit cards will be accepted.
