KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
• Bring bags or boxes for your haul. Plastic totes are not allowed.
• Doors open at 9 AM. Enter through Door 1.
• Everyone who is shopping needs to be in line when you arrive. • Please don’t wait in the car and bring family members up as you near the door. Line spots are based on each person’s own arrival time, which keeps the wait fair for everyone. If standing is hard for someone in your group, a rollator or seat cane lets them wait comfortably from the start, and we encourage you to bring one.
• ALL CHILDREN MUST BE WITH AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
• Nothing with wheels inside the building (wagons, carts, wheeled totes). Disability aids and strollers with a child in them are the exceptions.
• Medical equipment and mobility aids will be tagged prior to entry.
• We cannot hold or mail items. You must come in person, the day of.
• Our volunteers aren’t able to search for or set aside specific items (like a certain size or style) ahead of time.
• We are unable to offer special sensory hours. If you need a quieter environment, we recommend coming later in the morning.
THE TOY ROOM (DOOR 5)
The toy room is set up this way so that every child can receive toys, whether they arrive at the beginning of the event or closer to the end. It has its own entrance, its own volunteers, and its own checkout.
• Open to children from newborn through age 12. Special consideration is made for developmentally delayed adults.
• A CHILD MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE TOYS.
• Limits per child: 1 large toy, 2 regular-sized toys, and 1 grab bag or fidget toy (subject to supply)
• One time through per child. No re-entry.
• Puzzles and games aimed at adults are in the main market, not the toy room.
• There is no early shopping for toys. The toy room opens Saturday morning, not before.
• Only four families are allowed in at a time to keep the toy room calm, so there may be a short wait outside Door 5.
DONATIONS
• Donations end on Wednesday, October 28 at 7 PM. No donations will be accepted after that cutoff.
• Donations reopen on Monday, January 11 at 10 AM.
• We are unable to accept furniture. We recommend The Repurpose Place at 102 Beverly Dr., Chesterton, IN 46304.

WANT TO HELP?
• Volunteers who help at least 1 hour may take home one plastic grocery bag per day as our thank-you.
• We always need help the day of the event and with cleanup afterward. Please let the office know if you are interested.
• Children are welcome to volunteer with an adult present.
• Teens 16–18 may volunteer on their own with a signed parent release form.
