About this Event
In 1816, a group of friends stuck indoors on a stormy night dared each other to write ghost stories. One of them wrote Frankenstein. This is our version of that night: candlelight, horror classics flickering on a dim wall, music humming under the conversation, and a room full of people in costume arguing over the best monster, the movie they weren't allowed to watch, the witch they wanted to be. Nobody knows who will tell the best story. The vault keeps its secrets, until it doesn't.
What to expect
- Candlelight, a moody atmosphere, and a venue unlike anywhere else.
- Mingle, wander, and swap stories. Our tried-and-true table topics will have us questioning things like: why some of us love being scared, what power and sisterhood looked like on screen, why the outsider almost always gets cast as the villain, and more.
- Spooky trivia that tests your knowledge from Dracula to Halloweentown, with bragging rights on the line.
- Food and wine available to purchase from The Vault's menu.
- Your ticket includes entry into a bar cart basket giveaway, built with local partners, think: wine, teas, coffees, syrups, and cozy things for the -ber months.
New to our gatherings?
You don't need to know anyone, and you don't need to be a big reader. The table topics are there when you want a spark, and the rest of the night is yours to mingle. The thing guests tell us they love most about our events is the room itself: the energy, the conversation, and how safe it feels to open up to people you've just met.
