American Cabaret Bellydance (also known as Am Cab or Nightclub) is a style rich in history and distinct costuming that differs from traditional Egyptian style. Using a 5-part set recipe, Am Cab uses purposeful rhythm changes and props like veil, sword, finger cymbals, and candles to showcase a dancer's skill.
Join us for our last Raq Room of the year as Dawn teaches this classic style of dance, exploring subjects like technique, traveling and dancing in the round, while also sharing how sets are created, what props can be used, and when to use them.
Make sure to bring your finger cymbals and veils and join us in September!
