VOICE. PRESENTATION. PURPOSE.
Having a gift is only the beginning. The Provenance Assembly presents an intensive, hands-on Performance Masterclassled by Pastor Derek The Changeman Smith, Visionary and Facilitator.
This is not a seminar where you simply sit and listen. Come prepared to sing, learn, be corrected, and perform.
VOICE
Go back to the foundation. Understand your voice as an instrument. Learn vocal preparation, warm-ups, breathing, scales, pitch, tone, phrasing and control. Develop the discipline to sing intentionally instead of relying solely on natural ability.
PRESENTATION
Learn how to take what you can do vocally and properly present it. Work on stage presence, movement, microphone technique, audience connection, dynamics, building a performance and knowing how to finish.
PURPOSE
Understand what you're trying to communicate and why you're singing it. Learn to move beyond simply delivering notes and begin delivering an experience with intention.
Participants will receive instruction, demonstration, individual assessment and live performance coaching, with opportunities to make corrections and apply them in real time.
One participant will be selected for an opportunity to perform at the Mahogany Masquerade that evening.
