About this Event
You know your work. Build the confidence to speak up for yourself.
You keep the office moving, manage competing demands, and support patients every day. But when it’s time to question an expectation, address a difficult interaction, or discuss your compensation—do you struggle to find the words?
Your professional development deserves the same attention you give your work.
This interactive one-day workshop helps Medical Office Assistants communicate with confidence, handle workplace challenges professionally, and make their contribution clear.
You’ll learn and practise how to:
- Clarify your role: Discuss responsibilities, workload, and the decisions you can make independently.
- Speak up with confidence: Make clear requests without overexplaining or unnecessary apologizing.
- Handle difficult conversations: Respond to criticism, address misunderstandings, and set respectful limits.
- Build professional credibility: Strengthen your organization, priorities, and follow-through.
- Make your contribution visible: Explain your skills and results using specific examples.
- Prepare for your next step: Request a performance review and discuss development, greater responsibility, or compensation.
Bring a workplace situation you want to handle differently. Leave with practical language, a clear conversation structure, and a plan for taking action.
Limited to 10 participants—so you have time to practise, ask questions, and receive feedback.
