About this Event
The Professional Certificate in Indigenous Consultation and Legal Duties is a new professional development offering led by the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law’s Lands and Consultation Hub. This program provides practical, interdisciplinary training for professionals who engage in or support consultation processes that involve Indigenous communities, the Crown and industry.
Rooted in the Faculty’s commitment to advancing Indigenous experiential learning and access to justice, the certificate equips participants with the legal, procedural, and ethical knowledge necessary for seeking consent and supporting meaningful, rights-based consultation practices in Canada.
Modules can be taken alone, or can be combined to obtain The Professional Certificate in Indigenous Consultation and Legal Duties.
