On October 17 at 18:00, we will present the book FREEHOME 2016–2020, published by ciconia ciconia Verlag.
The book is a detailed account of all the events — readings, performances, and exhibitions — that took place at FREEHOME between 2016 and 2020. Fascinating exhibitions and remarkable creative people: artists, composers, writers, as well as gallerists, curators, and critics. It was a time before Covid, before the war in Ukraine. Looking back at it today, one can hardly believe how different that time was.

Vadim Zakharov and Maria Porudominskaya are grateful to everyone who took part in the activities of FREEHOME. It turns out that a great deal can be achieved in culture by relying on professional intuition, personal connections and friendships, and the conviction that history is made with your own hands.
Special thanks go to the publisher, Wladimir Velminski! He published this book, recognizing the historical significance of FREEHOME as an important phenomenon in Berlin’s cultural life, and assumed all the costs of its publication.
FREEHOME — 350 pages, with numerous color illustrations; thread-sewn linen binding with single-color embossing, headband, colored endpapers; format: 24 × 32 cm.
