Join us for the book launch and discussion of The Political Economy of Alternative Media by Sandra Jeppesen, iowyth hezel ulthiin, Emily Faubert, and Christopher C. Petersen.
Based on five years of participatory research with global media activist projects, this book explores how grassroots organizations create, organize, and distribute media to support social movements. It examines organizational structures, funding models, media labour, intersectional power, and the evolving role of digital media in activism.
