Join Daniel Borzutzky, award-winning poet and faculty member at the University of Illinois Chicago, as he debuts an original performance piece in dialogue with We Are This Land: Meditations on the Great American Experiment. Borzutzky’s work moves across the hemisphere, connecting the histories of South and Central America to contemporary experiences in the United States. His vivid and surreal explorations of American life invite us to consider the histories and systems that shape our shared experience. We’d love to see you at this event!
