I am returning to Carnegie Hall.
In 2025, I made my debut on this iconic stage alongside pianist and composer Charu Suri, bringing NoteSpeak's singular fusion of jazz, poetry, and improvisation to one of the world's great rooms. On November 13, 2026, I am back.
This evening, I'll perform selections from NoteSpeak (In a Word), my latest album on Ropeadope Records, including "Winner Takes All", co-written with pianist Marco Cremaschini, and "Shaping The Yet-to-Be", the 2026 Grand Prize winner in the Jazz Category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, both newly rendered in conversation with Charu Suri's music. Sharp, playful, and altogether unflinching. Poetry with its boots on.
Also joining the stage is vocalist Lizzie Thomas, making her own Carnegie Hall debut, performing alongside Charu Suri in what promises to be a luminous night of female artistry, acoustic beauty, and singular voice.

NoteSpeak (In a Word) is available now wherever you listen.
