Friday night is about to get a whole lot funkier at The Workshop Brewing Company. Sandbox Alliance is bringing some serious groove to the taproom with Traverse City staple Chris Sterr and his powerhouse fusion group, The Pocket!Delivering a high-energy mix of jazz, rock, funk, and blues jams, these guys are well known around town for their tight instrumentation and dynamic covers—seamlessly moving through tracks from ZZ Top to Robert Palmer.
Alongside frontman Chris Sterr, the group features local heavy hitters, bass player Stu Ford (#stufordonbass) and Mike Shea.
All Sandbox Alliance shows at Workshop are all-ages and totally free. Honor cover is highly encouraged to support the band. See you in the taproom!
