Welcome to The Plant Social—happy hour for plant people, where your plant is your wingman and we judge the plants, not the people!
Bring one healthy, interesting plant—pretty, unusual, dramatic or just as wonderfully weird as you are. At check-in, you and your plant will receive matching name tags and choose a color based on your vibe:
🔴 Red — Plant Lover: I’m just here for the plants.
🟡 Yellow — Plant Friend: I’m here for plant friends.
🟢 Green — Plant Date: I’m here for the possibilities.
Your plant will hang out in our designated display area while you mix, mingle and admire everyone else’s leafy plus-ones. Spot a plant you like? Use its matching tag to find the owner and start a conversation. No awkward pickup lines needed—the plant already did the hard part!
We’ll also have Plant Mingle Bingo, a fun icebreaker filled with plant-related prompts. This isn’t traditional sit-down bingo. You’ll move around the room, meet people who match the prompts and collect names as you go.
You might leave with a new best friend, a future plant-swap buddy, a local plant expert or somebody cute who finally understands why you own 47 plants and still “need” another one.
This is not a plant swap, so everyone takes their leafy wingman home. Come for the plants, stay for the conversations and see what connections grow! 🌱
