On Thursday, October 22, Black Girls Link will host The Pivot—an evening for professional Black women across industries and career paths focused on leadership, career growth, entrepreneurship, professional strategy, and what’s next.
At a time when Black women have been pushed out of the U.S. labor market since January 2025, The Pivot is about creating access—to knowledge, relationships, resources, and opportunities that help Black women advance, build meaningful connections, and move into the rooms where decisions are made.
The evening will feature four accomplished women:
- — President & CEO of RJMLEADS LLC, former Deputy General Counsel of Time Inc., leadership expert, and co-author of The Next Little Black Book of Success: New Laws of Leadership for Black Women.
- — Certified Executive Coach and Founder of No Cream in This Coffee, a leadership development strategist who has helped more than 3,000 professionals strengthen their leadership skills and strategic influence.
- — Founder of Network While Black and Programming & Events Manager at Tishman Speyer, whose career journey took her from wardrobe styling to programming and experiential events while building a community centered on meaningful connections for Black women.
- — Founder & CEO of Maven Market and creator of Maven Haven, who transformed more than a decade in branding and creative strategy into entrepreneurship and built a business around innovation, access, and convenience.
Together, they’ll share candid insights on shifting your strategy, navigating your professional journey differently, pursuing your passions, exploring entrepreneurship, building influence, and positioning yourself for what’s next.
